About Us

In 1990, in search of a new life-style and a larger, more affordable "farm", we moved from the island of Maui to Grants Pass, Oregon. We slowly built our new home, and acquired our "critters", beginning with chickens and dairy goats (we brought the dogs, cats and bird with us, from Hawaii).
In the spring of '96, we met and fell in love with llamas.  We decided to build a new barn, fence a new pasture, and then get a "few llamas".  We soon had purchased our first pair, and by summer we had acquired another pair.  That was it, we were hooked!  As any llama breeder can tell you, llamas quickly become an addiction.  We now have a wonderful herd of 18, which will expand by several more, come next season! Llamas have become a way of life for us.  We can't imagine our ranch without them.  There is nothing like unwinding by sitting in the pasture surrounded by peacefully grazing llamas and their friendly, frolicking cria.  There is nothing like gaining the trust, and a soft nuzzle, from one of your llama friends. Llamas - gentle spirited, graceful and elegant, beautiful and intelligent, whimsical and fascinating, with each one possessing his or her own unique personality.  Discover the joy and magic of llamas for yourself!
